From September 20 to 22, 2024, the WPBSA Q Tour will make its first stop of the 2024/25 season on the European mainland. Following the opening event in Leeds, England, the second competition will take place at the Bulgarian Snooker Academy in Sofia.

Among the 108 athletes participating is Austria’s multiple national champion and Q-Tour regular Florian Nüßle, who will face Welsh player Riley Powell on the second day of the event at 10 a.m. Should Austria’s snooker ace advance to the Last 32, he will meet either Rory McLeod, the Jamaican ex-Main Tour professional, or Oliver Sykes from England.

In December 2024, the Q Tour, which serves as a qualifying series for the WST Snooker Main Tour, will come to Austria for the first time. The Austrian Snooker and Billiards Association’s National Training Academy in Vienna will host the fifth season event from December 13 to 15.
