For the fourth time this season, the internationally renowned Irish head coach of the Austrian national team, PJ Nolan, visited the National Training Academy in Vienna to coach the ÖSBV national teams in Snooker and English Billiards.
Both disciplines have major international events coming up this fall:
Austria’s Snooker elite will compete for medals from October 10th to 23rd in Albufeira, Portugal, in the Masters (Singles & Teams), 6 Reds, Shoot-out, and Teams (Men) categories.
In English Billiards, the WBL World Billiards Championship will take place from October 28th to 31st in Walsall, near Birmingham. The ÖSBV will also be represented at the Landywood Snooker Club, which will host the WBL English Billiards Open as a warm-up event on October 26th/27th, effectively transforming into the “Landywood Billiards Club” for an entire week.
