Austrian national champion Florian Nüßle reached the Last 16 at the third Q Tour event of the season, held at the Snookerhallen in Stockholm, Sweden. Nüßle was defeated 4-2 by England’s Steven Hallworth in the Round of 16. Despite the loss, the former amateur world champion (2021) had a personal achievement with a new tournament high break of 142 points, which brought him level at 2-2 in the match. This break gave him something positive to take away from the tournament.

Before his exit, Nüßle secured wins against England’s Mark Vincent (4-0) and Ukraine’s Anton Kazakov (4-2), which earned him a spot in the Last 16. He finished the tournament in ninth place overall.

Chinese player Zhao Xintong won the tournament, defeating ex-professional and Vienna Snooker Open regular Craig Steadman from England 4-3 in a close and thrilling final.

Zhao Xintong also topped the tournament’s break list, achieving the first-ever maximum break (147 points) in Q Tour history. This historic break came during the Last 64 match against Shaun Liu from Hong Kong. Nüßle’s 142-points break was the second-highest of the event.
