Florian Nüßle concluded the season in style by claiming the title at the prestigious Italian Snooker Masters in Turin. Prior to the tournament, the Austrian Snooker star made history by achieving the first-ever maximum break (147 points) recorded on Italian soil during a practice match.

Just one week after missing out on the final day of the Q Tour event in Vienna, the multiple Austrian national champion and 2024 Austrian Snooker League winner delivered an emphatic response. In a training match against Latvian snooker colleague Rodions Judins, Nüßle showcased his impressive form with a flawless 147 break, signaling his strong contention for the tournament title.

Nüßle began his campaign with victories over Italy’s Geremia Orsi and Malta’s Brian Cini. In the semifinals he faced Australia’s Ryan Thomerson, the in-form runner-up of the recent Vienna Q Tour event. A commanding 4-1 win secured his spot in the final against England’s Peter Devlin, who had earlier registered the tournament’s highest break of 105 points.

Living up to his billing as the tournament favourite, Nüßle triumphed with a 4-2 victory over Devlin in the final, securing the Italian Snooker Masters title. This win marked the perfect conclusion to an outstanding season for the reigning EBSA 6 Reds European Champion.
