Report – ÖSBV nominates athletes for upcoming EBSA European Championships in 6 Reds, Shoot-out and Team (Men)

Austrian national champions Paul Schopf (Upper Austria), winner in 2014, and Florian Nüßle (Salzburg), winner from 2016 to 2023, will represent Austria at this year’s EBSA European Championships in 6 Reds, Shoot out and Team (Men). The competitions will take place from October 16 to 23 in Albufeira, Portugal.

With Florian Nüßle, the current leader in the Austrian rankings and seven-time national champion, and Paul Schopf, currently ranked fourth and a former national champion, the Austrian Snooker and English Billiards Association (ÖSBV) is sending its most experienced snooker athletes on international level to compete for European Championship medals.

After the individual events in 6 Reds and Shoot out the competition will culminate with the team event, featuring matches in both singles and doubles formats (“Scotch Doubles”).
