The season finale of the Austrian Snooker League 2024 Masters category unfolded into the most exciting conclusion imaginable. Until the very last frame of the final, the overall season victory remained undecided.

In the end, Christian Hochmayer from FBC in Vienna emerged victorious. Along with claiming his third ranking title of the season, Hochmayer’s commitment to participating in all six Masters events of the season paid off. He secured the overall top spot in the annual rankings by a narrow margin of just two points over the reigning national champion of this category, Garry Balter.

Both players seemed to thrive on the drama, as the season’s outcome was not only decided in the final match, but in the very last frame. Hochmayer clinched the decisive frame, securing a 3:2 victory with Michael Peyr, the sports director of the host club TSG, officiating as referee.

Alexander Trinkl took third place in the Masters season finale at TSG Graz, where Christian Stadler served as tournament director. The highest break of the tournament was achieved by Garry Balter, with an impressive clearance of 73 points.
