From October 28 to 31, the Billiards World Championship in the English Billiards Time Format will take place at the Landywood Snooker Club near Birmingham, England. All matches will be played according to traditional Billiards rules, with a set time limit that increases as the tournament progresses.

In Group C, Martin Schmidt will face Rob Hall (ENG), currently ranked third in the WBL world rankings, as well as Mark Hirst (ENG), Jason Colebrook (AUS), and Stephen Kershaw (ENG).
