6-Reds Snooker European Champion Florian Nüßle maintained his excellent form in the following open European Snooker Shoot-out Championship. The Shoot-out format involves a single frame played within a limited time of 10 minutes, and Nüßle reached the semifinals, securing another European Championship medal, this time in bronze.

Austria’s number one only fell in the semifinals, losing to England’s Craig Steadman, who went on to finish second behind Ukraine’s Iulian Boiko, now a two-time Shoot-out European Champion.

In addition to his Bronze medal, Nüßle also received the prize for the highest break of the tournament, a remarkable 103-point clearance, achieved in just 4 minutes and 21 seconds. According to his own statement, this is now the fastest century break of his career.

Austria’s second participant, Paul Schopf, won his first two matches, but was eliminated in the round of 16 by Estonia’s Andres Petrov.
