At the second event of the 2024/25 Q Tour UK/Europe season in Sofia, Bulgaria, multiple Austrian national champion Florian Nüßle did not advance past the round of 32 this time.

After a 4-1 victory against Welsh player Riley Powell, England’s Oliver Sykes proved stronger this time, defeating the 2021 U21 amateur world champion Nüßle 4-2.

The tournament victory at the Bulgarian Snooker Academy in Sofia went to Dylan Emery from Wales, who beat England’s Harvey Chandler 4-3 in the final. Emery also shared the highest break of 142 points with ex-Main Tour professional Liam Highfield (England), who lost to Chandler in the semifinals.

Emery secured his place in the final by defeating another ex-pro, Mark Joyce from England, with a 4-2 victory.

The Q Tour 2024/25 continues from October 6 to 8 at the Snookerhallen in the Swedish capital Stockholm. It will then visit the The Austrian Snooker and Billiards Association’s National Training Academy in Vienna from December 13 to 15.
