The annually held DMT Snooker Open in Glabbeek, Belgium, ends with fifth place for European Championship bronze medalist Florian Nüßle. After his successful performance among the European snooker elite in Sarajevo, the Pro-Am event offered the next great opportunity for the reigning and multiple national champion to compete against strong opponents. By reaching the Top 8 and achieving a highest tournament break of 93 points, Nüßle once again demonstrated his international top level.

English snooker professional Joe O’Connor left Glabbeek as the winner of the 8th edition of the DMT Snooker Open and enjoyed a prize money of 3,000 euros. Zak Surety (ENG) achieved the highest break of the tournament with a maximum break of 147 points.
